With Keith Trudgeon “moving upstairs” and joining the main Board he will be vacating the role of Head of Communications after the Stafford Rangers game on October 2nd, his 1500th game as Press Officer at Celtic.

The Club is delighted to announce that Taran Dhamrait has agreed to become our new Head of Communications when Trudge steps down, and he will report directly to said Board.

Taran has been a real breath of fresh air since coming to the Club two years ago and has been instrumental in raising Celtic’s profile across all aspects of social media. Indeed, his YouTube interviews with Simon and the players have become must-see viewing for Celtic fans.

Chairman Rob Gorski said: “I’m delighted for Taran, I believe he could be a real asset for Celtic going forward. He is calm, professional and devoted.

Despite finishing his Masters and embarking upon his career Taran still travels up and down the Country, spending untold hours of his time giving the fans what they want and deserve. We wish him well in his new role.”
