Stalybridge Celtic are looking to recruit a volunteer Programme Editor to support with the creation of the clubs home match day programme. The ‘Bower Bulletin’ is a key element to the Matchday experience at Bower Fold and we want to make it even better for the upcoming season.

The Programme Editor will work with the clubs Press Officer to create content, choose images, retrieve content from other programme contributors, proofread copy, oversee the overall look and feel of the programme and liaise with our publishers to ensure the programme is ready for each home game.

The Bower Bulletin is produced for all of our home league games and also for the majority of games we play at home in cup competitions.

There is lots of creative freedom with this role and it would suit an individual interested in a variety of areas such as Journalism, Marketing, Graphic Design or Communications. We are open to ideas for how we can improve our programme and the Programme Editor will have the opportunity to put their own stamp onto the programme.

Ideally, you’ll be confident using a computer, able to proofread and write to a deadline. You’ll also be a good communicator, enthusiastic and have lots of fresh ideas.

A more detailed description is available on request.

Although this role is voluntary, the Programme Editor will receive free entry to home and away games and become part of a friendly and welcoming volunteer team.

The successful applicant will join the club at an exciting time as we embark on a new era under Manager Chris Willcock.

If you are interested in this position or would just like an informal chat about the role, please email Taran Dhamrait at taran@stalybridgeceltic.co.uk.
