Stalybridge Celtic is again required to remind supporters that the use of pyrotechnics is strictly prohibited within all football stadiums, is a criminal offence and can lead to prosecution, stadium bans and cause the football club significant penalties.

After tremendous vocal backing this season and on the back of another fantastic away following to Witton Albion, the football club now faces further sanctions after the behaviour of a minority of supporters.

The Club, Jon Macken and the players fully appreciate the fantastic support that is being shown every week which truly does make a difference, however this cannot include the use of pyrotechnics.

We have a zero tolerance policy on the use of pyrotechnics and will be forced to take further action given the repeated offences that have been reported. Anyone found to have used or been in possession of a pyrotechnic device while attending one of our games will face a ban.

All supporters should be able to enjoy our games and the use of pyrotechnics poses risk of serious injury to those in the stands and on the pitch.

Please re-consider if you have any intention of using pyrotechnics at one of our games and enjoy the remainder of this exciting season and keep driving the team forward.
