We’re delighted to confirm the signing of defender Aaron Chalmers.

The popular centre-half who has made 138 appearances for the Club including 29 in last season’s campaign has represented the Club significantly over the last two years and is back to support the squad ahead of Saturday’s visit to Bootle.

Jon Macken, said: “I’m sure everyone will agree Aaron is a great signing. His experience and quality will add massive value to the squad at a crucial time.

“We speak regularly and Azza has always said if he could ever help us out and if he wanted to play again, he would do it for us and the Club.

“We’re really pleased to have him back with us and look forward to seeing him back out on the pitch with us.”

Welcome back Azza!
