Author: Taran Dhamrait - Thu 15 Oct 26Following a seven day approach, Ellis Horan has agreed to sign for an NPL West Club.
The Club did everything possible to retain Ellis, however ultimately Ellis has resolved to leave for a new challenge and we had no option but to agree to part ways.
Despite attempts to re-sign Ellis as a contracted player in the summer, he elected to remain on non-contract terms which the Club respected, so is therefore free to move to a Club following the standard seven-day approach protocol.
Since joining Celtic in 2025, Ellis went on to net 13 goals and 21 assists in 71 games and after a standout season, was named our Supporters' Player of the Season, SCSA Andy Cowley Memorial Shield winner and Young Player of the Season.
Ellis and his family will be deeply missed around Bower Fold and will always be welcome back.
Good luck, Ellis.
